Sultanov Karim Sultanovich

Director of the Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures named after M.T. Urazbayev of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (from 2021 to present day).

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor.

Sultanov Karim Sultanovich graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute (1971) and the Tashkent State University (1986). Qualified as a mechanical engineer and mathematician. Since 1971 he has been working at the Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He defended his candidate's dissertation (1977) and his doctoral dissertation (1992) in specialty 01.02.04 - "Mechanics of deformable rigid body" at the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

The results of his scientific research were published in 2 monographs and more than 300 scientific articles, of which 130 are journal articles, including 40 in prestigious foreign journals, more than 90 articles in proceedings and materials of symposia, international and republican conferences. 5 doctoral and 11 master's dissertations were defended under his supervision. His scientific directions are related to research in the fields of seismic resistance of buildings and structures: dynamic strain and destruction of soils and rocks, structure-soil interaction, wave processes in soil media with embedded underground structures, strength of textile threads and yarns.


Xudaykuliev Rajabbay Ruzmatovich

Deputy Director in Science Issues, Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures named after M.T. Urazbayev of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (from 2021 to present day).

Candidate of Technical Sciences, senior researcher. Researcher in the field of agricultural engineering.

Wasborn in December 10, 1963 in the Kush-Kupyr district of the Khorezm region. In 1983 he graduated the Kokand Automobile College with honors. After graduating Tashkent Engineering Institute in 1990, he began his career as an engineer at the Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures named after M.T. Urazbaev of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Later he worked as a Junior Researcher, Senior Researcher, Chief Engineer of the institute, Deputy Director for general and economic issues, Head of the laboratory.

The author of more than 90 scientific papers, including 2 monographs, more than 10 patents for inventions and utility models. He actively participated at Innovative Development Fairs and took honorary placesat various stages in the field of industrial and agricultural engineering. With his direct participation, 11 scientific developments were put into practice.


Ismoilova Sabida Isroilovna

Scientific secretary of the Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (from 2014 to present day).

Doctor of Technical Sciences. A scientist in the field of study of mechanical properties of textile yarns, of identifying and applying their boundaries changes in technological processes and creating a scientific basis for determining the yarn strength.

She was born on May 11, 1973 in the Khuzhand region of the Republic of Tajikistan. In 1995 she graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. She worked as a laboratory assistant and a senior laboratory assistant at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, a leading specialist, a chief specialist of the Department of Physical-Mathematical, Technical and Earth Sciences, a chief specialist of the expertise department of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a senior researcher at the Institute of Mechanics and seismic Stability of Structures of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

She is the author of more than 60 scientific papers, including 1 monograph and 2 software products.
