Institute of Mechanics and Seismic Stability of Structures named after M.T. Urazbaev of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan cooperates with the Ministry of Innovation Development, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
The institute runs a joint international grant Russia-Uzbekistan MRU-FA-58/2017 "Acoustic barriers for seismic protection: development of concepts, mathematical models and numerical algorithms". In 2018 the Institute concluded a cooperation agreement with the University-Industrial Cooperation Center of the Sun Moon University of South Korea and the Almaty University of Kazakhstan. For several years, the institute has scientific ties with the University of Berkeley (USA) and research centers in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. Cooperation agreements have been concluded with higher education institutions such as: NUU, TITLP, TASI, TIPSEAD, the Tashkent branch of the Russian Gubkin University of Oil and Gas, TIIIMSKH and others, and work is underway on the training of scientific personnel and scientific and technical studies.
Under the supervision of the Institute staff in 2018, 4 master’s theses and 6 bachelor’s theses were prepared by students of NUU, TASI, TITLP, TIPSEAD.
